Our proofreading and editing services are provided by native English editors for your thesis, dissertation, manuscript for submission to journals, academic paper, professional document, business correspondence, emails, etc. Please email your text for proofreading to receive a quotation.
All our staff are highly qualified native English editors and proofreading specialists, with degrees from US & UK universities and have extensive proofreading experience. They proofread & edit the errors that people make as speakers of English as a second language when writing academic scripts or business correspondence.
During proofreading, we edit the mistakes that spell-check’s proofreading function cannot identify and polish your writing to a native English standard rather than just correct grammatical mistakes and typos. All documents undergoing proofreading / editing are overseen by a senior editor.
When we return your file after it has been proofread / edited, we are always happy to make any editing changes and answer any questions you may have regarding a proofreading assignment – we will also include editing comments where the intended meaning is unclear.
You may email us your file for proofreading / editing to receive a quotation which will be based on our standard rate of HK$150 per 1,000 words, that’s HK$0.15 per word with discounts for volume down to as low as HK$100 per 1,000 words (HK$0.10 per word). If you intend to send numerous small files on a regular basis, then proofreading & editing accounts can be opened at the rate of HK$150 per 1,000 words (HK$0.15 per word).
Editing is marked on clients’ files using the popular track change function in MS Word so that all corrections are visible thereby enabling clients to provide feedback to their editor before accepting them in order for changes to be made.
